Jurug Zoo. Solo

Some pictures of the old and decrepit hippo exhibit of Jurug Solo Zoo-era. There are supposedly old exhibit for tigers at the zoo ground according to @Mossman Joe, but it more than likely already demolished.

Another examples of the many old and abandoned infrastructures that are no longer in use within the zoo ground. While they have chances to build new and better exhibits for their current and new animals or to build breeding facilities, there were instead plans to made a themed-park and haunted house instead.

@Mossman Joe summed it up perfectly; "Why would they think guests would go to the zoo for these attractions? Where they probably can still go and enjoy them at the already one or two parks within the city itself."

While this exhibit are there more than likely to attract guests as an attraction, this also shows the good business relations of the Manansang and Sumampau (The two families that own Taman Safari Indonesia) with Gibran and his family, as with most other conglomerate in the country.

Gibran was quite involved throughout the revitalization of Solo Safari, aside from doing interviews and posting concept art on his instagram page, he promised that Solo Safari's ticket fares would be lower than Gembira Loka's during opening, and it was (even if only by 5000 Rupiah). He also made sure that guests would have affordable food options through the small cafeteria situated before the administrative building, this was after getting multiple complaints that the Makunde restaurant, which was the only area that served food at the time, was too expensive (and I think it still is).
