Hi there!

I have been reading zoo chat for a while now and finally decided to make an account and get involved a little but i'm a bit shy as i don't know much but i'm very interested in all things zoo and animal related :)
Always loved the zoo but became majorly involved in the past 2 years as my boyfriend enjoys visits so we go together! I suffer from chronic illnesses which obviously make life a little harder but i will survive!

I have no idea what to write in this post really so yeah ... i'm 21 years old and currently studying a degree in health and social care specialising in child development so nothingggg at all to do with animals but its more like a hobby/side interest for me.

My absolute faves are giraffes but trust me i could go on listing my 'favourites' for days :) anything you wanna know just ask and i hope to talk to lots of you around the forum!
 
Nice to have another northerner about; there are a fair few people on here who live in Cheshire and Lancashire, but I'm based in Northumberland and County Durham.

You'll learn fast, I'm sure - until then be sure to ask if you need pointers about anything.

I enjoy reading a lot of the posts so just need to keep reminding myself to join in haha, i'll be sure to ask if i get a bit lost though.

Hello and Welcome from a slightly grey and breezy Cheshire - welcome to ZC and don't worry about input - just enjoy yourself it is a hobby after all. For my sins I lived in Egremont for a few years so nice to hear from a Cumbrian too - Welcome!
 
I am definitely enjoying the forum and learning a lot. I have a lot of photos to share too so need to spend some time uploading those from various zoo visits throughout 2013 :)
