Just to say Hi to everyone

Hi all I just want to say hello to everyone and I hope I can get to know lots of you through this forum. I am a regular visitor to both London Zoo and Whipsnade Park. I started taking my children when they were very small and just sort of got hooked on animals. I have been out to South Africa on a couple of safari trips which were totally awsome.

Welcome to the Wonderful world of ZooChat.:) Know London Zoo very well, have been a regular for 20 years. I know Whipsnade a little, have known Koko who lives with the chimp group there for many years and the beloved 2 young male chimps Kumi and Joema who also came from London, before they were sent to Russia.:( Don't know whether you like chimps!!

So hope you enjoy your time on the site, there is always so much to read about and many people to chat to with many different opinions!
 
ZSL Wipsnade or London Zoo

Hi everyone,

Sorry I have been offline for a couple of weeks... away on a training course!! Just to answer the query about where I went in SA it was to Inkenkwasi (not sure of the spelling). It was near Port Elizabeth, on the Coast. It was quite a small reserve and everywhere was off road which made it quite exciting! They had just brought in a while male lion and two white female lionesses and they were just preparing them to introduce them into the park.... they were stunning!

Just watch Wild at Heart now to get my weekly dose of SA!

Hoping now that I am back I can find some other threads and get involved.
