I have been watching this cool interesting anime which involves human animal girls called “Friends”. They just released an English dub last year and an interesting storyline involving a human character starting with Kaban in the first one and Kyruru in the second one. It shows the characters that reflect their animal counterparts and behave like them and includes lesser known obscure animals along with extinct animals (animals that went extinct because of humans), mythical, and cryptid creatures.
My personal favorites include the Mascot which is making this wild cat popular “Serval”, Caracal, Raccoon (Arai-San), Giant Pangolin, Giant Armadillo, Margay, Asian Small-clawed Otter, PPP(Royal Penguin, Emperor Penguin, Southern Rockhopper Penguin, Gentoo Penguin, and Humboldt Penguin).
It also lead to music albums, concerts, games like Pavilion and stage plays
Several zoos in Japan’s collaborated doing cutouts of the animal girls characters near the exhibits including the famous grape-Kun Penguin who fell in love with one which lead 59 donations to conservation.
Also I recommend for those who haven’t seen it?
