I haven't visited the Aspinall zoos for some years and have never been to Wingham, Wildwood or RSCC so thought a trip to Kent might be in order. Any suggestions of how to fit five zoos into three days would be appreciated. The Aspinall parks are open 9.30 - 6.30 (summer) and the others 10 - 6pm. Journey time is about 3 hours from Bristol. I thought Port Lympne day 1, Wildwood and RSCC day 2 and Howletts Wingham day 3.
Good idea?

I've never been to Wildwood, but would say your plans look ok. The 5 in 3 days can be done comfortably.
Port Lympne definitely requires the longest time, so best to only do that on one day.
I've been to Howletts/RSCC in summer on the same day and Wingham/RSCC in October when the latter shut about 4.30.
The small carnivores at RSCC were fed at 4, so may be a good idea to make that your 2nd visit that day.
Howletts to Wingham is only about 10 mins with RSCC another 10 minutes from Wingham.

Thanks for the information Pipaluk, the small carnivore feed is certainly worth knowing and I shall make sure I am there to see it.

If your planning this trip any time soon worth noting that rscc is shut now for the winter period. Not sure when it is due to re-open, would assume it would be Easter perhaps.

I'm planning a visit to the British Wildlife Centre, Howletts, Wingham, Wildwood and Port Lympne, when I get back to the UK later this month.

I'm planning ahead a bit, I was thinking spring but if Wingham are getting chimps I may hold out a bit, depends how long it'll take for the chimps to arrive.

I don't think the chimps will be arriving till the summer but as far as I'm aware no confirmed date has been set as yet.

The chimps may have to be quarantined as well which would make it late summer.

I've not been to Wingham but will definitely pay it a visit when the weather's warmer.
