As far as I know, Jabari, Meru and Winnie are in the old elephant enclosure on the foot safari, the others are still on the drive.Don't think they have Rhino's on the foot safari do they ?

On show in the paddock. On show or off show ?
Still nothing(?) appeared to be in the old wolf enclosure opposite the Lion enclosures.
New wolf spotted in the old wolf enclosure today! At first I thought it was Morena, but apparently it's a new male. Exciting times.
Knowsley are teasing a new arrival on their Facebook page which is a large crate on the foot safari so I'm guessing this is Keyah the new female rhino?
Keeva not Keyah. But who said there was only one new Rhino?![]()
Does anyone know if Knowsley safari park will be getting anymore Elephants
KSP have successfully held two bulls historically, with the additional space of the old elephant quarters now in rhino use, it gives even more space to move them around as required. The three older females Meru, Winnie and Piglet have all had calves with Sharka (resident bull) and calves before him with previous bull (Bud or Budweiser depending what you prefer). So these three ladies have probably done their bit for rhino breeding and diversity, or they are coming to the end of their breeding days possibly?. Therefore the current introductions of a younger, yet mature female from Augsberg (I think I read), can hopefully breed with Sharka before he moves to pasture new.
Having not visited myself for a while now, is Binta (female), a) still at the park? & b) any attempts or success with breeding? She was born at Knowsley 2006 (mother Piglet). Having been born at the park and her mother still breeding, Binta as far as I know never became pregnant although I believe that ‘interest’ had been shown when with Sharka. It seems that the mother still being present almost suppressed her in someway from breeding (although this maybe hypothesis only!!)
A new female white rhino has arrived. 2yr called Bayami I don't where she's from. Posted on their Facebook page today.
1:0 white rhino has arrived (think he was the first to arrive) called Pembe. Don't know where from but there used to be one with the same name at Colchester zoo
