Indeed, sadly, Whipsnade's musk-ox are long gone altogether several were bred there over the years (including a first UK breeding in 1969).That’s good to hear I guess the musk ox are long gone though?

I remember the heavy steel fencing which must of taken a pounding considering the lean and bent bars it hadIndeed, sadly, Whipsnade's musk-ox are long gone altogether several were bred there over the years (including a first UK breeding in 1969).
Squids?I have also realised that it isn't just the zebs but all the squids at knowsley are kept in there own enclosures but I hope this changes.
Equids?Squids?
Yes Pembe the younger male is at the Elephant house and has been for a few months. I believe his behaviour makes him quite challenging and he hasn’t integrated well with the other Rhino. They are carrying out some work on the Rhino house area so I don’t know if this will help facilitate his return to the drive. I think the work they are carrying out is restricting access to the other reserve which is why they are all currently together.Had a visit yesterday and just a few things to note. All 6 rhino's on the drive are all together in the larger reserve. Does anyone know where they keep the 7th rhino.
Bira the female amur tiger is still there and the wolves are still on the safari drive. However the enclosure on the foot safari has been cut down so the grass isn't overgrown anymore and I saw a few keepers around that area so perhaps they could soon move onto the foot safari again.
Lots of fighting from the giraffes today which I know people have mentioned but never actually seen it my self.
.A little bit concerning if these are new wolf pups which I'm guessing they are because the pack is made up of 5 siblings born in 2020 as both of the alphas have passed away.
As I say it was a post from Instagram but the fact it was posted on Saturday and it says “from today’s visit” which makes me think that these are new pups. It is easier if you view the video from the original post but it looks like there are possibly 5 pups feeding from their mum >> Login • Instagram I was also under the impression that the pack was now just made up of the 5 siblings from 2020I went yesterday and I didn't see any wolf pups...

It is only the smallest of the three enclosures on that side that was open to the Lions today. Whilst it is empty it makes sense to give them access, especially if they have to be kept in all day as occasionally happens. The pride today split themselves between the two sides of the house so they were making good use of it. There is hopefully a vision for what to do with these enclosures, as well as the enclosure opposite which currently houses the wolves (which in my opinion should be relocated back onto the foot safari). Bira should have moved to Ireland 6 months ago but red tape held it up. This has significantly delayed plans to introduce a new carnivore species to the drive.I'm quite disappointed that that enclosure has become part of the lion enclosure as it could of been home to another large carnivore maybe another female tiger as Sinda is now quite old so obvious she won't be breeding anytime soon
