According to the park's Facebook page, there was an incident on Sunday involving a car knocking down and subsequently killing a baboon.
It seems people don't seem to appreciate that the animals wander around free in these enclosures and that baboons can damage cars. I suppose the driver thought 'Oh it won't happen to my car'
It's so annoying people's blatent stupidity, carelessness and irresponsibility!!

Anyone know what the two Tigers at Knowlsey are called?
Knowsley have three tigers.
Khan is a twelve year old hybrid male.
They also recieved two female Amur tigers named Bira and Sinda (born 1/4/08) from Port Lyme in November 2009. A male will hopefully be sourced for one or both of them at some point.

Khan is older than 12 so I have been told. He is actually 'quite old'
