It isn't my interpretation. I wouldn't go on a public forum, disclose my name and discuss this with immense amount of passion if I didn't know what I was talking about.
Yes, it is my opinion that it is hypocritical, unethical and irresponsible for any Zoo to use positive punishment as well as deprive animals in their care from the very basic element of behavioural welfare: choice and control

To anyone who's sitting on the fence: Phone up your nearest zoo that keeps elephants in FC and ask to come and volunteer on the elephant section for a month during your holiday. Share your experience with us here on the forum. OH, sorry what? Didn't get through the front gates? Offered the wallaby section? Elephants to sensitive to visitors?
