Berlin Zoo Knut the Polar Bear Dies

For visionary poetry I would rather read Blake, Baudelaire, or Borges, so let us get back to the original subject. Considering the number of unstable people in the world and Knut´s young age, a real possiblity is that the poor animal was poisoned. An enraged ex worker was able to poison various animals at the Sao Paulo Zoo in Brazil a few years ago. We can only hope to know of the autopsy results soon to dispel all doubts. Yet, perhaps celebrity animals need to have special security measures to protect them the same as the human celebrities do. It is strange that an animal like Knut which bought so much revenue to the berlin zoos would die in this manner.
 
I will not link it here, but if anyone is interested someone actually got a video of his death and uploaded it onto Youtube.... it looks very suggestive of either an epileptic fit or a stroke. To be honest, it seems as if he may have died before he even hit the water, so at least it was *quick*

I've heared, the Zoo thinks about to clone Knut...

Humans are fascinating, inlogical animals. The death of an animal is more important to them than probably 20 000 dead people in Japan...
 
KNUT, you had a hard life. After your beast of mother didn't want you, you had to grow up without a warm mother,who wos was took care for you, but you found a good Daddy, who became your best friend. But the evil animal rightners wanted your death, and thousands of people made a clown out of you...Now, You're free...You are in Heaven.

Shut the hell up Tarsius, I don't know if you think you funny or something, but your not. While I personally dont really care about this bear, a lot of people held him close to their hearts. No body one here thinks this is worse than the 20,000 dead in Japan. If you didn't notice this is ZOOchat, no JAPANchat or EARTHQUAKEchat, so obviously we'd be talking about something zoo related. So stop being pissy and try to contribute something worthwhile, not something just to piss people off.

@baldur. Thats strange, I went to the docter yesterday, and he said, everything is okay...

Who gives you the right, to judge about other persons, young man ? So, if I'm sick, you are a a young fool, because you don't understand it, do you ? Knut is gone, and you tell me sick, only because I give him my last respect, Shame on you !
 
Knut was a bear who didn't make his own choices in life. Diana was a cheat and a fraud who had affair after affair. Big enough difference.

Tarsius, what you posted is crass and not in the best taste.

The events in Japan are unimaginable to most of us here. The death of a bear who would have died in the wild is not so important. However as this is a forum for discussion about zoos and related subjects what do you expect people to talk about?

I have just seen the video via a link on another website. He clearly had a stroke/fit, he was most probably dead as he hit the water. There is no struggling at all.
 
This thread id going nowhere, it started with the best of intentions by maguari and has veered way off course thanks to a few members, therefore it is being closed, feel free to start another, but please keep it on course this time.
