Do they hold zoo-mix or subspecifically known chimpanzees?

All Chimps in Sweden are zoo-mix, without a female called: Linda at Furuviksparken, Gälve (Pan troglodytes verus).

Kolmården has also received an award for best zoo in the Nordic countries 2015 by Nordic family website, barnsemester.se.
 
The Asian elephant bull, Tonsak (B. Thailand 1998) will arrive from Copenhagen Zoo in the end of summer for to start a breeding group at Kolmården together with the elephants females Sao Noi and Bua.

The elephant house at Kolmården has rebuilt for over 300000 euro for adjustment of the bull.

SVT (Swedish Television) will also produce their popular children tv-show, Wild kids for two weeks in the end of the summer at Kolmården. Wild Kids won also an award for best Non-Scripted Entertainment at International Emmy kids award earlier this year.

Bull Tonsak done the entire business in Kobenhavn? All cows of breedable age pregnant or in the later stages of their gestation period?
 
The Asian elephant female, Bua (B Thailand 1997) has been confirmed pregnant and hopefully a calf will be born in Autumn next year. This will be Bua's second calf and Tonsak's first (B Thailand 1998).

Both Bua and Tonsak are gifts from the recently deceased king of Thailand (Bua to the Swedish king and Tonsak to the Danish queen).

Great news! Kolmården has this year abandoned "free-contact" for "protected-contact" on their Elephants.

This seems to be a good year for the Elephants in Sweden with already 2 births in Borås and a third is waiting, but this time in Kolmården later this year. Namsai, Kolmårdens first-born calf was struck off EEHV (Elephant endotheliotropic herpesvirus) but after some weeks of around-the-clock intensive care by the keepers he was recovered and was on his legs again.

A new map was aslo released for some weeks ago on their homepage (3D).

According to the zoo's Facebook page, rhino girl Nambi, 4, was transferred to her new home. Any idea to which zoo?
 
I've just found it, she was brought to Katowice in Poland yesterday. :)
