Nice addition. I wish more zoos would invest in holding pure-bred Aoudad or Barbary sheep, of which quite a number of regional sub-populations like the sahariensis are either threatened and endangered. This unlike the generic ones for which of the love of humankind I do not know what has been mixed in and whatnot....
 
The zoo is closed since last Friday after wet snow and winds fell over 200 trees and many became instable so areal is closed due to danger to visitors.

This is third long closure of the zoo during this calendar year (after bird flu and then FMD precautions). The zoo is suffering financially. Its current attendance is under 200.000, while during previous few years, it would attack 250.000.

And also worth mentioning, when updating ZTL, I realised the zoo has phased-out all venomous snakes within last 2 years. It didn´t posses large collection, just few individuals like Gabun vipers or Naja cobras.
