Amazing new inclusion! Really, really nice!!! Which exhibit were the rhinoceros hornbills present at? At one of the crane and stork aviaries, I assume?
Any chance you saw the Asian woolly-necked storks (Ciconia episcopus episcopus) that are also a new species for the park?
Yes and yes! I don´t remember exactly on which one, but was on that row of aviaries. The Asian woolly-necked Storks are keep with the Painted Storks, Malagassy sacred Ibis and Tragopan (I only saw a female on the back part of the aviary). They also keep four Painted Storks now, two adults and two young birds. I also saw two pairs of Saddle-billed Storks. I think they´ll need to biuld new aviaries if they want to keep increasing the bird collection. And I hope they´ll do.
