Actually Ned,it was great fun at the CAPS A.G.M....about 20 people [mostly old ladies]in a vegan boarding house in Blackpool!One old dear went at me with an umberella for wanting to put a robin in a cage [as she saw it]!No sign of all the so-called patrons with big names and it all serves to illustrate that you can purport to be far more significant than you really are and the media will believe it.I actually attended the last BIAZA parliamentary reception and it was hosted by a conservative MP Charles Walker who talked great sense about zoos.I make no political mileage out of this and it struck me that the Daily Express could be working a strong anti-labour scam in claiming that they want to ban zoos.Today they ran a big centerpiece on the subject that was essentially pro-zoo.I wont be sorry to see the back of Angele Smith however.
