Lack of species lists on sea life aquariums

I’ve noticed from a personal project of mine which involves getting every species from every sealife center, that a lot of sea lives except for most of the UK and all of the US which are well documented, have very small barebones lists aside from australia which I would say has the most documented sea life centers ever on zoochat. But in contrast, places like sea life chongqing or sea life spain have little photos on the media page or are only mentioned AT ALL in a simple tag, and are so new in existence the official sea life website does not even have them in their location list.

And yes, these centres often are repeats of others, which are repeats of others, some of the lesser known ones such as nagoya have freshwater sections with species found in no other sea life center (not aquarium but not found in any other of the sea life centers) and to find the species list you must either be good at identifying fish, and being able to identify fish in low quality photos or videos by tourists who understandably are just enjoying the aquarium, not focused on the species listing.

So yes, sea life centers may be not looked upon by zoochatters as “great” aren’t “bad” either but meh, some are fun, others are very small and a cash grab, but there is a lack of information for a ton. I think it’s attributed to a lack of interest and a lack of zoochatters in some of these obscure areas. I did not know what nagoya, bemendenla, porto or gardaland were before I researched these places.

I personally have only two SeaLife centres on my radar with them being Birmingham & Weymouth for the soul reason that they exhibit Fairy penguins and Sea otters. Otherwise, SeaLife centres don't interest me a great deal, not because I dislike fish as in fact I'm a massive fan of them, but the fact that prices are rather steep. Charging almost £20 a head for a small aquarium is out of the question and I'd much rather spend my money on a larger aquarium such as The Deep etc in which I can spend a whole day. Species diversity along with the poor lighting and theming don't do the centres any favours from my end. Great for families who are looking for a day out on a rainy day or staying by the coast but they just don't take my interest.
