largest frog ever! Beezlebufo

check the measurements though - its not THAT much bigger than the extant goliath frog of west africa.
 
that article just says 41cm high (whatever "high" means) and 4.5kg. Goliath frogs are up to 3kg and up to 36cm snout-to-vent length. I'd say Beelzebufo was quite a lot bigger.

At least this story is nicely timed for Amphibian Ark's 'Year of the Frog' campaign - does anybody know what zoos have planned to celebrate all things amphibian? With Attenborough's Life in Cold Blood on TV at the moment, hopefully the public will support this campaign as much as last year's M.A.D about Madagascar.
