Le Jardin Aux Oiseaux, Upie / zoo d'Upie

What do you want to know @Jana especially ?
There was not much interesting things in the article I read.

Why did they stole them? Backround of the robbers - is any of them (ex-)zoo employee? What happened to the remaining 2 lemurs - sold/escaped/dead etc.

Last sunday a truck driven by a couple was arrested and the policemen found the lemurs in it. They were kept in small boxes with little holes to breath.
The man was arrested and told the policemen that :
- he just drive the animals, nothing more.
- another man was at the origin of the robbery.
With his help the second guy was arrested too but said he knew nothing about this.
The two men are well-known from the police and we can think that the animals were victims of a traffic.
The woman arrested in the truck was released.
We don't know more for the moment for the other animals.

Other births not yet mentioned: 2 western plantain-eaters (Crinifer piscator), red-bellied tamarins (Saguinus labiatus), grey-headed emerald doves (Chalcophaps indica), Lilian's lovebirds (Agapornis lilianae), Ousessant sheep (Ovis aries), greater rhea (Rhea americana), red-necked wallaby (Notamacropus rufogriseus), 2 meerkats (Suricata suricatta), snowy owls (Bubo scandiacus) and cattle egrets (Bubulcus ibis).
