Arrivals in May:

- 1,0 red panda (from Paris Ménagerie)
- 0,2 grevy zebras from Berlin Tierpark

- 0,0,1 lowland anoa (sire: Hermann, born 2006 at Port Lympne; dam: Kathi, born 2005 at Leipzig)
 
Departures in June (22nd):

- 1,0 Asian elephant "Voi Nam" (born 05.04.2002 at Leipzig, Mekong x Trinh) to Tiergarten Heidelberg
 
Births in June:

- 0,1 Amur leopard (sire: Xembalo, dam: Vatne)
- 0,0,2 Sibirian musk deers
 
The female amur leopard cub (1432 g, 12 days old) and the three snow leopard cubs are doing well.

Departures in July:

- 2,0,1 slender-tailed clouded rats (Phloeomys cumingii), offspring from 2009 and 2010 (1,0 offspring from 2009 to Prague Zoo)

Births in July:

- 0,0,1 scimitar horned oryx (sire: Sokoto, dam: Maria)
 
Departures in September:

- 1,0 Baringo giraffe "Kibo" (born 2008, Maximilian x Knöpfchen) to Hungary

Edit:

- 8 False gharials arrived from Malaysia in august
 
Thanks for all of the updates BjoernN. It looks as if the zoo is well into acquiring species for Gondwanaland! Is there anything you can share with us about the current state of the project? Planned species (I know these have changed since inception) etc?

"Joey" is still at Leipzig, separated from the group, but sometime together with "Kuno". There are plans to move but it is pretty difficult.

I took part in a job-site inspection last week and I am going to upload some pictures next week.

What do you want to know about the current state. Please ask me a concrete question, I will try to answer everything.
 
Well, what are the possibilities for he Joey in his future days?

I think a small group. Maybe even one female. Not to complex. That should be nice. No future holder interested?
