Personally, I was pretty impressed with the lemur walkthrough. It nothing else, its so good to see more of the Clore being used, and used really well. It was wonderful to be surrounded by tunnels with lemurs walking through them; you never quite knew where one would pop out next! Yes, so ring-tailed lemurs are pretty common in zoo collections, and they won’t have so much appeal to enthusiasts, but they are still an Endangered species and they are popular with the general visiting public. I’ll admit, at first I too thought maybe a more unusual species would have been better, but actually, seeing the ring-tails in new surroundings made me notice and really watch them, and appreciate them all the more. Add to that the happiness of unexpected tenrecs, plus upcoming aye-ayes, I thought this was a great new exhibit
