It’s become one of those zoo news items that spams all the news feeds. There’s at least one item a week that does that with each one telling you nothing the first 50 articles didn’t.

Two of the latest were a mother chimpanzee being reunited with her offspring; and some crap about Leonardo DC’s goldfish I didn’t even bother reading.

Who or what is Leonardo DC

Yes, it was early in the morning and I couldn’t be bothered spelling it.

It has a nice ring to it nonetheless. Reminds me of comics. :p

I thought you meant something comic related and couldn't figure out wtf goldfish had to do with that lol. His last name is easy :P Austrian Arnold, on the other hand, I'll never get right.

At risk of derailing an already very derailed thread further, please go back and read one of the many articles; I suspect you've misunderstood the headlines and this is in fact the recent story of the reintroduction of the golden skiffia, an extinct in the wild goodeid, being reintroduced in Mexico, being publicised through the lens of DiCaprio tweeting about it.

Indeed - I suspect this is the story in question, which is very much not 'crap'..! ;)

Leonardo DiCaprio: Actor praises Chester Zoo's conservation work - BBC News

The initial headlines I saw was that he credited Chester Zoo for saving his fish’s life. Perhaps whoever published them decided that would make better click-bait than an article about actual conservation work - which is indeed very impressive; and the subject of the hundreds of articles that followed.

Followed by Leonardo DaVinci and the anthropomorphic turtle, DiCaprio’s the most well known Leonardo of our generation and it’s great to see he has an interest in conservation.

Historians have proved that people from every zodiac sign survived the Sinking of the Titanic…except Leo.
