I am going to make a page on this species for my site, but would like to know more about the group at Tierpark Cottbus.

How many do they have?
Have they bred, and if so, where did the offspring go?

I believe that Cottbus has had great success with the marabou, so it would seem reasonable to think that they have would have great success with the lesser adjutant.
 
The Bronx zoo in New York, seem to be the leading zoo outside Asia breeding the lesser adjutants, if not the only.
 
I am affraid I do not have current information, but back at 2006 when they achieved their first beeding succsess in Cottbus their group consisted of 2,1 elderly birds + 0.0.1 fresh offspring. This offspring had to be hand-reared. The breeding female came from Fuengirola, but originated in Prague (but she has not been hatched in Europe because Cottbus claims to have the first hatching in Europe for this species ever). She was hand-reared and she did not successfully paired with the previous male in Prague, she laid only plain eggs. During the flood (2002) this male died and she was sent to Spain as a part of animal exchange.

Prague has been a nice place for marabou-fans, as they have been exhibiting all three species (till ca 2001?) but bred only the african ones.
 
Does anyone have a list of zoos which keep the species?

Kuala lumpur bird park kept them about 15 years ago; my dad has a picture of one!
 
No, I do not. I bought my first camera 3-4 yeras ago when already just the "ordinary" marabous were left in local zoos.
 
I see from both actu zoo and zootiereliste that they are still kept at Cottbus, but offshow.
