Lian Center Zoo

Hello everyone! For the longest I wanted to do a speculative project and I've got the courage to do so as you can see!
I've been through a lot of ideas and wasn't sure about them, but I finally got an idea I realy like. I've always loved city zoos and the idea of their old architecture, and Lian Center Zoo is going to be all that.
About the zoo: Lian Center Zoo opened in 1925 and it's located in New England, in a fictional park called Lian Green Park. The zoo would been known for their outsanding rarities, such as ethiopian wolf, marine iguanas, dugongs and much more! The park has 6 different areas:

• Tropics Building: One of the biggest tropical buildings in the world, it has animals from africa, asia, south america and australia.
• Safari Journey: Typical african area with some rarities sprinkled around.
• Asian Domain: Unsual asian area, with an outstanding asian elephant habitat.
• Our Contient: Award wining area, that concentrates on the NA continet. Also, it has an award wining area for polar bears.
• The Ocenarium: The aquarium of the zoo, full off different types of seals, seabirds, an incredible penguin habitat that it could compete against the habitat at Bird and much more.
• Zoo Center: The "old" part of the zoo, that has the reptile/amphibian/insect house, a lot of paddocks for hoofstock, nocturnal house and the children zoo.

Disclaimer!: I won't do daily posst, and some times I will have "free" weeks, just to avoid any burnouts that would lead me to not like this project anymore. Also, it's not the most realistic zoo, but after all this is just imaginary.

I'll start with the entrance. I've been looking at multiple entrances and 1 stood out from the rest. Even if Lian zoo is an old zoo, thay would have modernized their exhibit to one similar at the Signapore zoo, with a lot of foliage, only letting you see the entrance and the logo of the zoo. Also love how the implement the wooden planks.

Just to make an update, Lian Center zoo is actually going to be formed by only 4 areas (Safari journey, tropics building, ocenarium and our continent). Just like Toledo/London/Ueno the zoo will be divided into two parts, the small one with the the tropics building and the ocenarium, and the big part with the safari journey and our continent. I don¡t want to spoil anything, but I will say that the building is composed by an asia-australian fauna. All the tropical mammals from SA and africa were moved when the expansion of the zoo was completed, so yes, we might see the eagle .

Tarsiers are present at the zoo. Saola have never been in the zoo. The zoo imported colugos back in 1990, up until 1995 all the animals, except one died. That indivuidual was the male Hank, and he made ton of people come to the zoo. Sadly in 2009, the zoo lost Hank. The colugos were free-flighted, as the carnivores habitats were netted, and still are because there are still some free flighted birds.

Hi @MOG2012! To response to your question, the zoo doesn't have any red-shanked douc as they died out and where replaced by javan langurs. The zoo didn't want to replaced the animals as they where hard to care for, so they opted for another animal. Thanks for your appreciation as it has been hard work to put out the layout of the zoo, but I think I've finished the tropical house and the african section. The aquarium is a bit tricky with all the fish, but I'm confident.
