A rare white tiger attacked three employees in a Czech zoo today after escaping from its enclosure, officials said.

Seems to me there is something of a breakthrough in breeding European black vultures in European zoos. Is the ground breaking research at Antwerpen/Planckendael finally paying off? Great. :)

Booted Eagles were bred in private hands before. The discussion of the first (not accepted as wild) observation in nature in Britain mentions a pair which bred in a collection somewhere in Britain.
