Lincoln Park Zoo Lincoln Park Zoo 2018

I noticed a Nicobar Pigeon egg in the aviary.
Also, the chimps and gorilla bachelor troop switched habitats. The order of habitats in the Center for African Apes is now
1. Gorillas (Main Troop)
2. Gorillas (Bachelor Troop)
3. Chimps

The zoo held a goodbye party this morning for their red pandas. It is a secret where they are going, for now.

The Amur leopard has already left the zoo. They are allowing their cougar access to both her exhibit and the former Amur leopard exhibit before she leaves.

All of the Kovler Lion House will be leaving permanently. That includes the current lions. They will be leaving in the spring. They will likely be replaced by a younger lion pair by the time the renovations are completed in about 2 to 3 years from now.

Did the Zoo provide renderings of the new complex?
