I believe we should move to or start a captive killer whales thread for any further discussions unless relevant to Linyi :)

Wow! But i read Wuxi was almost ready back in March btw the Wuxi link doesnt open! Its 2 males they have.
yeah i know the agreement was to send 2 orcas from KSW to Suma. The only thing that involved Chimelong is the AI cause they have males.

I thought mother and daughter, Lovey and Luna would remain? It would make more sense to send Lara and Ran. Lara's never bred and is now twenty one so that's beginning to be a worry.

That sounds great re. Chimelong. Do you have any photos? It would be superb if they built giant pools for them, even bigger than those at Seaworld and Antibes!

Chimelong will be the biggest ever they got 9 pools! 5 big, 2 med pools and 2 medium one…

They are trying to AI Lara and they had issues to AI her same with Ran they are/were having issues to get her pregnant. They even tried for her to breed with Oscar and nope she wanted nothing to do with him. That was when he was alive.

When they announced that KSW will send 2 female orcas to Suma they inmediatly began letting Ran pass a lot of time with Luna in the back pools and send her to do the shows together to the point that Luna now nurses from Ran! Since October/November Ran is showing pregnancy signs…
