We haven't been to that many zoos in 2010 because of my broken leg we go to Cleveland once a week and have been to detroit and pittsburgh once.Bonnie hates having to push me around in a wheelchair but we cant stay out of zoos we love it its what we do.Anyways I start Physical Therapy on monday cant wait to start walking.We wanna tour the smaller zoos of Michagan in september and are going to Texas in october we can't wait

@Team Tapir, it interesting how you put the Toronto Zoo on the Top and SD in 2nd, can you explain. Since in other people reviews, I see that the Toronto doesn't have a single outstanding exhibit.
 
Well Jax for starters I am basing my ranking of Toronto higher than SD on two amazing visits.I have only been to SD once and while I thought it was great it could not compare to Toronto.I think we have all been to zoos where it seems like every animal is active and you are having amazing interaction with the animals.Both of my visits to Toronto were like this.As far as the exhibits go I cant agree at all with there not being any top exhibits.I found both the Indo-Malayan and African Rainforest Pavilions to be awesome.The African Savannah is huge with a great variety of animals.I even feel that alot of the older exhibits while not state of the art are all nice in size.We have not even been to the Tundra Trek yet it was still being built.So don't get me wrong I really like SD but can't put it ahead of Toronto.

Pictures/impressions of Expedition Madagascar? Sadly out of all the reviews and pics and trips people on here go on, we have yet to get either of the new exhibit at one of the best zoos in the nation. BTW, feel free to start your own thread or post this in an appropriate thread if you do have a review of it.

It doesnt come close to comparing to Shedd, its similar to Newport however still think Newport is alot better

Thanks again for the reply Team Tapir, since the only aquarium(True) I have been to is the Georgia Aquarium and will most likely compare to it according to what you said.
