NASHVILLE ZOO AT GRASSMERE: 10-1-18
This is an attempt to list every species on exhibit at the Nashville Zoo in Nashville, Tennessee during my visit on 10-1-18. I am including species for which there is a sign on each exhibit, and organizing the route on the map by starting with the entry area's 'Zoo Central', then going counter-clockwise around the 'Savannah Loop' visitor path and then counter-clockwise around the 'Jungle Loop' visitor path. This list may be of more interest to those already familiar with the zoo since I am not arranging the species by animal type. I will post several of the areas separately for clarity.

Yes, in the restroom of the new 'Expedition Peru' exhibit complex that I will be listing later.

Ah, my bad, I assumed you were male and had managed to skip them, never realised they were in a different place. Can you see the tamarins without visiting the toilet?

I am male and I did not see the exhibit with my own eyes, the only viewing is from the restroom. The Boelen's Python wall terrarium in the men's restroom is just above two urinals, I wonder if the cotton-top tamarins are viewed through a panel above the toilets?!

Heres a pic I was able to find. It appears to be outside of the stalls.

While I find the concept fun, I'm disturbed by there being species that are only viewable to one gender or the other. Also, why is the one in the men's room a "scary" species and the one in the women's a "cute" one?

Now that I've opened THAT can of worms... :)

You’re welcome, I generally enjoy doing it! Although I wasn’t in the mood to do it for ABQ Biopark Zoo or Cleveland or Memphis, which were zoos I attended last year (however I did Memphis’ nocturnal house since it has such a stellar collection). I used to write detailed reviews but found that they were becoming a chore instead of a joy :(.

Yeah I find detailed reviews to be a chore as well despite how useful they are. Memphis is one I was actually hoping you'd done but no matter, the nocturnal house is probably the most interesting exhibit there for a zoo nerd anyhow!
