THE REST OF THE ZOO: (13 Exhibits)
This is my term for the remainder of the exhibits going back to the zoo entrance/exit.

Large-sized fenced yard with visitor viewing shelter of indoor holding building at one end:
Komodo Dragon

The following 3 exhibits are in a small building titled 'Koala Knockabout':

2 small-sized glass-fronted rooms exhibits, with adjacent outdoor weather-dependent yard:
Koala

Small-sized pedestal terrarium:
Green Tree Python

Large-sized netted walk-through yard for feeding:
Rainbow Lorikeet

2 small-sized simulated rock islands with water moat, both containing:
Siamang

Large-sized simulated rocky-walled grotto with dry moat:
Amur Tiger

Medium-sized simulated rocky-walled grotto with dry moat:
African Lion

Small-sized dry-moated grotto in far corner of African Lion grotto (very bizarre):
Diana Monkey

Medium-sized simulated rocky-walled grotto with dry moat:
Hamadryas Baboon

Medium-sized simulated rocky-walled grotto updated with rock and timber visitor shelter with glass panel viewing, titled 'Grizzly Ridge':
Grizzly Bear


Medium-sized rocky-walled yard with pond and underwater viewing in visitor shelter, titled 'Otter Run':
North American River Otter

 
SUMMARY:

By my count, the total number of exhibits currently at Riverbanks Zoo & Garden is: 150

By my count, the total number of species in permanent exhibits with identification signs is: 250
The number of species I counted can be broken down into the following categories:
Mammals: 36
Birds: 56
Reptiles: 52
Amphibians: 14
Fish: 70
Invertebrates: 22
 
Are the elephants gone for good from Riverbanks Zoo, do you know? Or are they building a new exhibit?

What was your opinion of this zoo? The aquarium/herp complex looks interesting.

Yes the Aquarium and Reptile Complex, Birdhouse at Riverbanks, Western lowland gorilla exhibit, and Sea Lion Landing are the highlights of this pleasant but oddly organized facility. I should mention that the garden part of the place is an attractive area of a formal garden and educational nature play areas, all located across a long pedestrian bridge over a river.
