Been to Twycross today and thought I would give an update. Starting with the gorills'a only 2 were outside today. The house that Oumbi,Matidi and the females share is still closed to the public. Again people were inside watching them. Matidi's wounds appeared to be healing very well. Biddy and Bongo were inside there house. If Boulas has arrived then he was off show. Baby elephant was outside with the adults. He is 2 months old on Tuesday. Doesn't time fly! Female giraffe was licking the walls inside the house. Is this normal for her? 2:0 Amur Leopards both still present. Any news on one of them being moved and a female coming in? Ask any questions and I will try and answer them. :)

Giraffes often do that, it's a form of stereotypic behaviour.

Just out of interest are the two leopards mixed or separated, I only remember seeing one when I was there in the summer.

They were both together yesterday although we didn't see the 2nd one at first.

There are seperated as they are father and son, one has access to an off-show outdoor cage while the other is in the on-show one.
