Differences between my Nov 2020 visit and Nov 2023, going counter clockwise around the zoo:
- The tigers have been moved to Keystone Safari down the road (same owner). Both exhibits are empty, I don't know if they'll have something new in them for opening day 2024.
- Emu are now in the zebu exhibit by the red river hogs.
- The leopard died, there's a pair of marabou stork in the exhibit.
- The mixed species exhibit in the back by the marmosets has added military macaw and alligator snapping turtle (in the summer). Scarlet macaw, red-footed tortoise, and yellow-footed tortoise are still present. There's no longer a Chilean flamingo.
- No bongo in with the zebras.
- Dromedarys are joined by a few watusi and gyr cattle.
- Valais sheep are where the camel calf was.
- Lorikeet aviary now has budgies, cockatiel, and lovebirds. Eastern rosella are in a separate exhibit behind the free-flight.
- Kangaroo Walkabout has red kangaroos and a few Bennett's wallabies.
- Indian peafowl exhibit has grey peacock-pheasant, southern screamer, golden pheasant, pink-necked pigeon, western crowned pigeon, and various chicken breeds.
- Island in bovid yard has red ruffed lemurs. The moat around it has a pair of mute swans and a few female knob-billed ducks.
- The bovids were all cattle and zebu, no yak or water buffalo.
- Lar gibbon exhibit across from ratel has black spider monkeys.
- The black spider monkey exhibit by the Prevost's squirrels has a DeBrazza's on one side and a pair of Hoffman's sloths in the other.
