Just thought I'd let everyone know where the 2007 lion cubs went...

Laini - Jacksonville
Tamu - Jacksonville
Kaya - Reid Park
Ingozi - St Louis
Zawadi Mungu - Oregon
Sarabi - Oregon
Enkundu - Still at SDWAP (Leaving for Honolulu in early 2010)
Nyack - Still at SDWAP (Leaving for Honolulu in Early 2010)

Just thought I'd let everyone know where the 2007 lion cubs went...

Kaya - Reid Park

Yes, it was quite a treat, because I actually got to see all the cubs in their indoor play room at SDWAP a couple weeks before they were put out on exhibit. Then I went back about a month after they were on exhibit to get some better photos in their excellent outdoor exhibit. Then after a while I found out one of the cubs I had seen was coming to my own Reid Park Zoo!

By way of coincidence, I had also seen our current tiger (Baheem) and his late brother (Raja) as cubs in the Cincinnati Zoo nursery before I knew they were coming to Reid Park.
