So, some news about Łódź! ;)

New enclosures for siberian tigers and asiatic lions have been opened!

Also new exhibit for pygmy hippos has been opened till July - the inhabitant is a male, Jabari.
 
According to a recent Instagram post 3 Phillippine porcupines (Hystrix pumila) can be found in the
Africa Pavilion, they will eventually move to the Orientarium. This is a new species for the zoo. The same post also mentions the following arrivals: 2-year old female Red kangaroo (Osphranter rufus) and 2 female Vicunas (Vicugna vicugna) from a zoo in Denmark.

The 2-year old female red kangaroo came from Prague zoo.
 
On December 2nd two Sumatran orangutans came to the zoo from zoo Basel. It is a female Ketawa and a male Budi. Resident at the Orientarium. White-faced saki (from Leipzig) and a female southern tamandua (from Duizburg) are also new residents. A male bearded emperor tamarin came from the Plock zoo and joined the lone female living in the zoo.
