Bongorob- thanks for Rosie's birthdate. So without wanting to make an issue of it, its nearly 20 years since ZSL had a black rhino birth, and Rosie is unbred at nineteen years old. I think the only realistic hope for her is AI. Hopefully her full brother KataKata, who was at Chester too, will breed at his new home in France.
Nelson- I've heard of him but there's nothing on him listed in my Black Rhino data.
Chester's first black rhinos on that are shown as Susie- arrived October 1959 and died May 1975 and Roger, arrived March 1960, died June 1980.
