London zoos/Hamerton zoo Adventure

Hello everyone!

I’m visiting my brother in London next week. Arriving on the 23rd of October. I’m planning to visit Hamerton zoo on the 24th. I’ve found and booked train tickets to Huntingdon. I found a bus that can take me to Hamerton, the issue is returning. I’m willing to just walk, but if at the train station there are things like bicycles or steps to rent or so that would be more welcome. Is there anyone that knows more about this? I checked out the public transportation thread, but it wasn’t accurate anymore. If no one knows a better option, no worries I’ll just walk back.

I’m also planning to try to visit the Get to know animals’ zoo and visit London Zoo once more. So, any tips for visiting Get to know animals’ zoo and London zoo and Hamerton zoo are more than welcome.

You shouldn't have too much trouble getting back actually - the last bus from Sawtry to Huntingdon runs at 1837, and Sawtry is only about a little over an hour's walk from Hamerton in my experience the timing cited by Google Maps is an overestimate.






So there shouldn't be any need for you to try to walk all the way from Hamerton to Huntingdon!
