I know this chat is about the animals but if any of you on here have got children. The news is Adventure Castle is now reopened. Inny and Gordito the Giant Otters and the Cuban Crocodiles are settling in well in their new home and the 2 new rides the Carousel and Tea Cups Ride are now popular with the visitors aswell.

According to the studbook, both of Longleat's hippos, "Spot" and "Sonia", were wild born about 1974 and were acquired by Longleat in 1976.

Manchester Zoo have sent their Skunk (Cecil) to Longleat on loan after their individual passed away.

Spring has already begun. The Koalas, Wombats and Potaroos are doing really well in their new home while the Giant Otters and Cuban Crocodiles are settling in so well. The Carousel is now very popular with the visitors. Anne the Asian Elephant is doing so well
