Chester Zoo Lou Lou The Pig

yeah it just disapeared from its exibit. did it die? does the zoo have somesort of graveyard for the animals or are they sent to furnace
 
the kune kune pig usually stays in her shelter so is never on view. when most zoo animals die, they are sent for an autopsy to determine what they died of, and also for future research into the species, then they are either cremated or given to museums

The Kune Kune pig was replaced recently wasn't it? By one of the mongoose species I think...

Yes - there are Banded Mongooses in that exhibit now.
