Louisville Zoo Lousville Zoo Visit Time

Hi all! Excited to finally get to exploring some mid-west zoos and I am curious how big the Louisville Zoo is? I'm hoping to go there for a little bit and then head up to Cincinatti for the rest of the day one day next week.

I'm wondering if the Louisville Zoo will take me a long time to see everything. It seems to be a fairly common collection of animals, so I'm fine doing a quick trip. Anything interesting there that is not listed on their site/is a must-see?

I would not try to see everything in half a day, much less attempt to do another zoo that same day!

Stagger Louisville and Cincinnati. Do them on consecutive days if you must, but not together. Your feet, legs, and overall enthusiasm will thank you.

I don't believe they have any crazy must-sees, thankfully. They do have a white alligator that seems a bit notable, and for a while longer, they have both elephant species.

Look forward to your thoughts as I'm hoping to make it there soon myself.
 
Thank you all! I don't have enough days to do a day at each, so maybe I'll just cut out Louisville for another time, or I'll do a very quick visit if anything. Cincinnati is the main goal here. Appreciate the input!
