*Misc News: In early October, the zoo made repairs to the fencing around the African lion, dromedary camel, and ostrich exhibits.
 
I don't know if they have at the zoo, but I get them here in my garden in the UK. They used to be a novelty and nice to see,plus they ate all the horse chestnuts, but they are now coming only at night, and eating all sorts of plants alas.

On June 4th, the zoo announced they acquired (1.1) plains zebras named Koffee and LeeLoo from the Saskatoon Forestry Farm & Zoo in Saskatchewan which are now on exhibit.

On June 23rd, the zoo announced they acquired 3 Nigerian dwarf goats named Junie, Lupe, and Mocha which are on exhibit.

On September 19th, the zoo announced they are in the middle of renovations for the Amur tiger exhibit, already completing new landscaping and viewing windows, and starting work on indoor renovations and new signage.

On January 18th, 2025, the zoo announced they completed renovations to the African lion exhibit in autumn 2024, installing heated floors inside their den area, as well as installing a heated rock near the visitor area.

On January 24th, the zoo announced they installed a heated rock inside the jaguar exhibit, as well as started work on 3 stalls inside the herbivore/small mammal quarantine facility.

On April 18th, the zoo announced plans to open a new area called Discover Madagascar, which will give new indoor/outdoor spaces for their ring-tailed lemurs and black-and-white ruffed lemurs, as well as more species in the future. Construction has already started in the Africa area, with the complex opening sometime in 2026.

On July 2nd, the zoo announced they renovated the lion deck viewing area, which reopened to the public.
