Crocodile bites handler at Queensland wildlife park - 9news.com.au

A man has been bitten by a crocodile at a Queensland wildlife park.

Emergency services were called to the Snakes Downunder Reptile Park and Zoo at Childers, south of Bundaberg, about 1pm after the 58-year-old man suffered head and hand injuries during the attack.

He was flown to Bundaberg for treatment.

It is understood the man an animal handler employed by the zoo.

He is now in a stable condition.

And says here that he lost his left thumb in the bite.
