The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore Maryland Zoo News

'Colobus Trail' is the newest exhibit at the Maryland Zoo which will allow the small colobus monkey troop to travel outside up to 'Lemur Lane.' All the lemur exhibits outside will be connected with the exhibits inside allowing greater flexibility for staff to manage the animals as well as provide animal enrichment and an engaging visitor experience. Construction is supposed to end in November. This will be the final project for current CEO Don Hutchinson and will mark phase 1 of the Chimp Forest renovation that will be conducted in the near future.

The project is from the same design firm and manufacturer which designed Philly's exhibit. The same hoop like mesh structure will be constructed. The pictures provided are for the inside mesh caging in Chimp Forest. CLR Design is the principle exhibit group which has designed ever single renovation/ new exhibit since Prairie Dog Town in 2008.
