One of Melbourne Zoo's twin snow leopards born in 2009 has been euthanised. A post mortem revealed it had a cardio-respiratory disease.

Always a very unfortunate loss, esp. at this age (when they have come through the difficult first few months of being reared). Esp. bad on the keepers too after so much care and hard work put in.
