I didn't realise that her companion, Barney died in 1996 after choking on a child's plastic toy had fallen into his pool, and was not replaced.
Clearly, the article stated it is the third largest in the world, after ones in Denmark and Sweden, both home to more than one polar bear.
RZSS determines the plan is replace her when she dies with a younger female, to breed cubs. Doug Richardson is intending to build a large enclosure for a male polar bear on the opposite side of HWP ant the pair will be mated.
