Merry Christmas and a happy new year

As the title says, i would like to wish all Zoochat members a very happy christmas and a happy, healthy and prosperous new year.
 
It is not even Christmas Eve yet in my part of the world! But I suppose it is not too early to wish a Happy Christmas. (Am I the only person who says that instead of Merry Christmas - I mean we are not living in the 1700's so I am not sure why merry hangs on in that context when it is never used anywhere else in modern English - or at least modern American :p).

Merry Christmas. It has been Christmas Day here (Malaysia) for six hours, and in New Zealand for eleven hours. (I get an extended Christmas Day because I say so :p)
 
Merry Christmas All! I had a great day at Taronga Zoo. Although it wasnt under sunny skies, more under an umbrella, It always seems to rain at Christmas! Hope everyone elae has an amazing holiday season and all the best for 2014.

For example:

Goldeneye .... and other waterfowl identified by the ornithologist, James Bond

Reservoir Bush Dogs

One Good Tern
Mrs Bruin's Boys

Ok, now it is Christmas Day here in the states. To add some festive color to this thread, enjoy this photo I took last night (Christmas Eve). It is an annual luminaria lighting at Tumacacori Mission National Historic Park here in southern Arizona.
