I wonder if the bush dog exhibit was constructed and even if they may join at a later date, or if they cancelled plans relatively early?
As of a today there are only 7 bush dogs in 4 institutions on ZIMS in US. Sequoia Park Zoo and Little Rock have a pair each, doesn't mean of course those pairs are reproductively capable and I feel like Little Rock pair must be getting kinda old, its got to be 5 years since i saw them.. Shame, lovely animals.

Yeah, a major part of my curiosity for Miller Park acquiring them is it suggested something had to be in the works - potentially an import - since the population here has been in decline for years. I've mentioned in other threads if the recent former holders - Saint Louis, Detroit, for example - and Miller Park worked together they could probably do an import and support a consortium management, but there's no way of knowing who has a long-term interest, which probably suggests there is none.
