I know right! I didn't see them though. I'm honestly having a hard time believing it, given how aggressive and destructive the hornbills were being.
A couple of errors on the most recent list:
-White-crested Laughingthrush is an accidental holdover from the previous list, they were not seen or signed in the Wetland Hall on this visit.
-The red pandas are Chinese, not Nepalese. The image on the sign shows a Nepalese, which is what caused my confusion here.

Not sure if the elk are gone but their exhibit was empty. The Reindeer exhibit has been split into two, hence why it is now listed twice.
It's interesting to see your lists of species from 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024. It would be fascinating if you wanted to add up all the mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish for each year and see what has increased or decreased during your 5 visits. If you wanted to tackle that project, then I'm sure some zoo nerds here would like to see the results of your data. 
As of my visit a few weeks back the elk were still there and the caribou exhibit was one large space, so these had to have been very recent changes.

Pike fairly often, Muskie I've seen only once.

Yes, after going to look for an extremely rare Kelp Gull that had been sighted in Milwaukee. It was a long day!

Yes, it was quite easy, sitting on a nest. A Chandeleur chick, too!
