It is nice to know that international cooperation across the Atlantic in species breeding programs is improving (alas in part due to vet restrictions US-wise reciprocity remains difficult to realise as per some past deals that fell through the other way round).

I'm always amazed whenever I read about Milwaukee's past collection of primates. Even into the 1990s it was so diverse. Although I think its safe to say that while there were several more species, the exhibits were probably much smaller than they are now.

Does anybody know how many Black rhinos were born at Milwaukee Zoo, and how mayny of them were raised ? First birth was in 1992. I think, it were three or four.
