Miniature Animal Figure Collection

Having woken up to the unusual presence of 7 inches of snow on the ground, I quickly decided to haul a bunch of the polar figures outside and see what I could do. Cold, but not often I get the opportunity to do the tundra ops without having to travel! :D

Ah, nice, I did the same during a snow in winter 2021 - Spain and California have similar climates and in my city, snow is exceptional! I did while fully snowing because I fear that next day the snow could have melt. Unnecessary, as the snow lasted for various days.

The only figure we have in common is the Safari walrus, but I acquired it after the snow.
I absolutely love your homemade Ribbon seal - it's really well done!!!

Very nice! I like the snow on the Musk Ox's back, a nice touch.

Not true actually - I also have the Harp Seal, Woodland Caribou, and elephant seal, they just didn't feature. ;)

I absolutely love your homemade Ribbon seal - it's really well done!!!

Thank you, I do like that one myself!

The photo with the leopard seal reminds me of this amazing scene!!

After every visit to the zoo, my daughter brought some souvenir, and it was always animal figurines. After years of collecting and even buying figurines, he became a collector of animal figurine models. She created her own mini-zoo at home. I am also attaching a link to her exceptionally super zoo.

Forest animals
In this video you will see the Schleich forest. In the forest you can see animals such as wolves, moose, deer, badgers, owls, falcons, roe deer, lynx, wild pigs, squirrels, hedgehogs, bison. Figures are from the brands Schleich, Papo, Safari ltd. The charm of European nature and forest through figurines.

I had Joy City pygmy hog (Porcula salvania) for ages out of my collection due to my disappointment when I received the figure as it was too tiny for my taste and lacks quality, legs were very short and texture was granulose, especially the muzzle was very unpleasant sight with this texture.

But recently I decided that this pig was actually not so small and in fact it's perfect aside my other pig figurines. So it only needed to be changed in quality. I decided to change the very short legs by longer ones, and give it a new muzzle with more smooth nose, not so concave profile, and a bit smaller eyes. Also gave it a new coat, not so monochromatic as the original figure, but with slight countershading especially in the face.

I'm trying to bolster my collection. Are there any websites that are good specifically for marine animals, or have large amounts of marine animal figures to purchase? Also looking for brands that manufacture marine animals.
