I visited the zoo today a Kangaroo walkabout is set to open in May 2017. Construction is well under way. It will be located in a sizeable portion of the current camel exhibit. I added a photo to the media section of Minnnesota Zoo.

Will it be temporary or permanent? Honestly, while I love kangaroos coming to the zoo, I'm annoyed they're being put in Northern Trail and impeding on the best camel exhibit in the nation.

The Kangaroo exhibit will be seasonal. There's a chance of it becoming a reoccurring seasonal exhibit.
