Hello everyone,

I've just found this forum and decided to register. My name is Michel Voorn, 43 years old and living in Leidschendam, a small place in the Netherlands. Some people from my country on this forum might know me :)

The last 3 to 4 years my interest in zoo's and safariparks has increased a lot, with safariparks as my favorite parks to visit, such as Safaripark Beekse Bergen. At the moment of writing there are 8 or 9 Dutch zoo's where I've never been sofar, I hope to empty the list this year :)

My health is not so good, I've Arthritis Psoriatica, a combination of rheumatism and proriasis, my disease affects my zoo visits, but lately it seems more stable, cause of improved medicines. I've no job at the moment, I've been declared 100% unfit to work (if this is the correct translation, but I assume you know what I mean).

Other insterests are electronic music, like Jean Michel Jarre, Vangelis, Tangerine Dream, Kraftwerk and so on, my weekly online radio show, Science Fiction tv series like Star Trek and Stargate. Questions ? I hope I can answer them :)

I hope that you will get better. My grandma has arthritis, so I know how painful it can be.

What are your favourite animals?
 
Hi MiVo - nice to meet you. It must be a common theme: zoo loving and electronic music loving! I too am a BIG electronic music fan! Also nice to see another ungulate lover, giraffes are up on my list of favourites too.
