Mixed Exhibits with Sugar Gliders

Oh interesting! I had the same idea about the Tokays initially, though most of people say the gliders will prey on the Tokays. I was thinking about introducing Tenrecs...

Tenrecs would be good.
Gliders could and would attack a gecko, but TBH, my experience of the tokays, pretty as they are, is that they will bite anything that touches them, I know a few private keepers and none have ever not been bitten by them, they're quick too, not sure they'd outrun a glider, but it would be a constant battle on who was chasing who!

I know of a couple of places that have had trouble with Lesser Hedgehog Tenrecs in mixed exhibit's eating the young of the other species,so don't think that would be a good idea!!

Hey zoogiraffe, thanks for the info! :) I was thinking of Tenrecs because we had them housed together with Mouse Lemurs, and as far as I can remember it all went okay… As Sugar Gliders may be just as fierce as the Mouse Lemurs I thought it might be a good idea. Do you know what species were the Tenerecs you referred to housed with?
